Continuing education and a community of support
for applying the enneagram to our
inner work and relationships
This is an opportunity for students of the enneagram who want to be part of an ongoing support group and community. The focus will be on putting the enneagram to work in our lives and in our relationships. Lots of good theory but with an emphasis on practical application.
The theme for the 2017 series will be: Working with the three instincts and subtypes self preservation, one to one/sexual, social. Its not the descriptions of the 27 subtypes, but rather the focus will be on applying this great material to our relationships and daily life. We will look at how each person expresses their instinctual energy to connect and care for others, using the enneagram and basic object relations psychology. The format will include:
guided meditation with breath practice presentation on an aspect of the enneagram whole group discussion small breakout groups for more personal sharing

I have been teaching the enneagram for 35 years to a wide variety of groups and organizations. I am a trainer in the US and other countries for the Palmer/Daniels Enneagram Professional Training Program (EPTP). And I have been leading study groups for many years (my first was in 1981) its my favorite format for taking the enneagram work deeper.
The Enneagram in Relationships - a continuing study group - This group has been meeting for over ten years. We occasionally have spaces for new people, but space is limited.

Instinctual Subtypes and Relationships
Subtype is at least as important as personality type in understanding our issues and patterns in all our relationships. We'll explore the six subtype combinations and talk about: What do we expect from our significant others for care and attention? How does this match with their expectations? Who initiates contact? How do we manage the rhythms of contact and withdrawal? How do security needs get met? Who takes care of the home or the finances? How are friends or family included? What happens when the emotional habit of the type is expressed through subtype activity?
The format will include presentations, inner practices and discussion. Peter's recently updated handbook will be provided in advance, with 70 pages on instinctual subtypes in relationship.
